We are alive!
So much has happened since we were last on here...how am I supposed to remember what I haven't told you?
The biggest news would be that Ruth is now MOBILE!!!! Yes, my dear 11 month old is walking - more like toddling - around! SIGH!
In three weeks, Ruth will be a year old. I am not at all sure what to do with myself. I can hardly believe how FAST life goes once you have a baby! It seems like yesterday I was wishing Ruth could interact beyond eating and sleeping - and suddenly I find myself chasing down a girl who has a mind of her own!
Ruth is an amazing child...she seems to comprehend more than most would think a child can at this age. When Mommy is being an emotional pregnant woman, Ruth is right there trying to make her smile. When asked a question, Ruth will more often than not nod her head and say (and MEAN) yes. When throwing a fit, Josh or I will ask her if she needs to go lay down - and she will nod her head and toddle off to our bedroom and LAY DOWN! Is Ruth gifted, or are most babies like this? This is an honest question!
This new baby...what can I say? It seems to be taking up TOO MUCH ROOM! However, I am very happy to announce, that Mommy is only gaining baby-weight! This is a complete answer to prayer for me, as my doctor was kind enough to point out that since I didn't wait longer between pregnancies...I will just keep "packing on the pounds" with each new baby. It is amazing how an insult can goad a stubborn person into something! Actually, I think I have God to thank for my lack of weight gain. Beyond eating to keep the two of us alive - I have not had a single ounce of desire for food since getting pregnant!
Have I said to much already? I am noticing more and more that I am getting diarrhea of the mouth these days. Could be the amount of time spent with a little girl who can only say up, more and all done!
I don't know if I told you, but since we came home from Ohio, Josh has been working out at the Mechanic Shop. Well, it all started with him being asked to rebuild the frame on a crane (it also "helps" that the Chief Engineer of the Grace is not here at this time). Then all four mechanics went to LA to get some stuff for the property, so Josh has had two weeks of fixing stuff by himself. Sooner or later, the Chief will come back...but not before Josh is able to rebuild the P&H Crane that we have had for years...
I am working a couple hours a day in the office, cleaning bathrooms and sweeping and mopping the floors. Who knows what I will be doing in two months - beyond taking care of a new Gift from God! Ruth "helps" me in the office, charming and entertaining everyone who walks through.

Oh! She's so cute.... Still... And yes! You were blessed with a good baby.. Or maybe it's the way she is being raised. I have never run across a child so well behaved.. With the exception of when I was a child of course. I Love you Bekah!
